Summer Art Camp Grades 3-5: The Great Outdoors

This week we will be making projects inspired by the wonderful things around us in nature! From plants and animals to camping and stargazing, we'll take inspiration from many things in our natural world. We'll even create art using some things we find outdoors! 

In our 4 day long camps, we focus on all types of art. We'll create projects with clay, paint ceramics, use acrylics and other mixed media. Each student will also get to tie-dye their own Summer Camp 2022 shirt! Some projects will be brought home the day of; all fired projects will be ready for pickup at Wish 7-10 days after camp ends. Our goal is to create fun, engaging projects that each student can put their own artistic flair on. Our instructors encourage each student to be unique and creative while in our studio! We'll have fun creating art and learning about nature along the way. 

Our camps are designed and staffed by certified NJ teachers as well as future teachers who are currently studying education. We keep our class sizes small so that each student can receive the individualized attention they need! 

We will provide smocks for each student, but it is best to send them in clothes that can get stained just in case! Each student should bring a water bottle with them to camp. Some activities may take place outside if weather permits, please put sunscreen on before camp and/or have your student bring a hat. Each parent will be asked to fill out an information form and our Covid-19 waiver at the beginning of camp. 

This camp is for students who will be in 3rd-5th grade at the start of the 2022/23 school year. If you have any questions about this, or would like to register a child of a different age, please reach out to the studio.
