About Drama Camp
Robin Brenneman, Artistic Director of the Hilliard Arts Council will be directing the camp assisted by music director and local music educators.
Students will take part in activities in both theatre and music. They will learn how to project, how to create a character, stage movement, and choreography and singing techniques. The week will culminate in a performance for family and friends.
This camp is for students rising into First, Second, and Third grades; no prior drama experience required.
Dates & Times, Location
This camp meets Monday through Friday daily, 9:00am to 4:pm.
Drop-off and pick-up will be at the Hilliard Civic & Cultural Arts Center unless communicated otherwise by camp staff (typically one camp day includes time at the splash pad, so please be on the lookout for special instructions for change of clothes or pickup from the splash pad from staff.)
What to Bring
Snacks are provided, but campers will need to supply a packed lunch. Please dress appropriately for the weather in comfortable clothes that can potentially get messy. Water bottle is recommended. Students may want to bring sunscreen or insect repellent as desired as some activities will be outdoors.
