Kids will be inside, in a separate area, from the general public. We have a camp area this year, to assure campers have lost of room and have their own space to store projects, water bottles, etc.
We will be taking numerous outside breaks during camp, to give kids a breath of fresh air. Snack will also be served outside, if weather permits, we will take a walk to the pond and eat snacks outside. Kids really love this part of camp and ask about it every morning.
This will be my 12TH year of offering Summer Camp for my studio. I really do love seeing the kids, sharing my love of art and seeing all the smiles on the last day when they take home projects to show mom and dad.
It TRULY is the best! I have cut down attendees to12 kids each week, to really provide a lot of one on one guidance with each and every child.
I teach the camps myself and am hoping that you send only ART loving kids to camp at the studio. It’s a long day for kids who do not like creating or making , and it’s distracting for the kids who LOVE ART and want to spend every minute of camp creating and making cool stuff.
Thanks for understanding and I hope not to offend anyone or suggest everyone is not welcome. I just wanted to assure you, if you registered your child for this camp, they will be making real projects that your would be thrilled to display in your home or give as gifts.
Please make sure your child is mature enough to be in a social creative setting for camp. They must be able to follow simple instructions and use the bathroom independently. Thanks for taking the time to read this to the end……I am so appreciative of you and your sweet kids for supporting my studio and making my job so much fun!
