Learn how to REDUX (revive) your own piece of wood furniture. This workshop, taught by re-create artist Randi Dalfonzo, will demonstrate how to refinish a small piece of furniture using a trending Unicorn SPiT Gel Stain &
Glaze technique as well as other refinishing materials.. Workshop includes hands-on instruction, work space, use of Unicorn SPiT Stains. Dress for mess. Ending time is approximate. Space is limited to 8.
What you need to bring:
- Small Wood Furniture - PREPPED, one piece only, sanded, clean and ready to paint. We suggest an accent table with only one or two flat surfaces, no larger than approx 2.5' H x 2' W x 3' L. Remember, this is a learning experience, please don't bring a treasured piece as your first project.
- Water-based Paint - latex, milk, chalk, mineral (whatever variety you prefer) to be used to finish the base of the furniture, to include all but the Unicorn SPiT surface. The color of Unicorn SPiT stain used will compliment this base color. Recommended Paint: SeaSpray Paints
- Paint brushes - small to medium, (1 or 2)
- Bag lunch and/or beverages. The Gallery has a small frig, microwave and Keurig. Coffee, tea, and water are available at no additional charge
