Summer Teen Lost Wax/JewelryCasting - (Tues-Thurs) (9am-4pm) - $475

Intensives run 9am-4pm. Wearable art has been around since before there was fire. Students learn the fundamentals of casting metal through direct casting into cuttlefish and carving wax. The whole process is covered from creating a mold, burning out the wax, watching molten metal fill the mold, cleaning and finishing. Silver is included for the initial project, additional silver is available for sale. Students should wear closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair.
