GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Each student leaves with half a dozen decorated gingerbread cookies to kick off the Christmas season! This is an interactive, child-only, hands-on class where your Jr. Chef "learns by doing" at a cooking station and/or prep table with kitchen tools and an apron provided. The Jr. Chefs will work as individuals, in pairs, or teams of 4 based on the recipe components. They will eat what is prepared.
The Pensacola Cooks Culinary Team joins the students in the central cook area to teach relevant skills and techniques for the recipes provided. The skill level and knowledge of each participant varies, but we strive to ensure everyone walks away from class feeling their cooking capabilities are enriched. Students receive a recipe booklet of the recipes from class.
As is the Pensacola Cooks tradition, children's cooking classes are an affordable way to explore depth of flavors, to practice new cooking techniques, and to learn more about the mix of food and culture. It's a fun way to meet new friends with similar interests and begin building a variety of kitchen skills to last a lifetime.
- For health and safety, students must wear closed-toed shoes and have long hair or bangs pulled back away from their faces.

- Menu items may be adjusted due to availability of ingredients.
- To ensure the health and safety of our staff and students, we provide hand sanitizer, and adhere to guidelines for the prevention of communicable diseases.
PCKids Jr. Chefs classes offers your child a unique, "edutaining" culinary experience that is something fun and different to do for children who love the creativity of baking and cooking.
