Class Description:
Grab your pals and join us for a throwback journey to the 1960’s as you enjoy a fun tiki party - complete with exotic Polynesian-inspired food and cocktails made famous at the world-renowned Trader Vic’s. Are you in? Of course, you are!  Bruce Campbell (aka the Food and Beverage Guy.) is the perfect host for our evening of Polynesian merriment … mixing up classic island-inspired cocktails, food, and tons of leʻaleʻa (that means 'fun' in the Tonga Room!'). Tonight, Bruce will start off by teaching one of the most legendary rum concoctions in the world … the Mai Tai, a classic Trader Vic’s cocktail along with an appetizer made with pineapple.  We’ll also experience the Scorpion, a kick-butt island-y treat which tastes great and packs a “punch!”  Our delicious Polynesian menu includes Huli-Huli Chicken, Sweet Coconut Rice and other sides. Of course there's dessert too, served with Bruce’s favorite Kona Café! Don’t miss out on this great evening of Polynesian fun – Kansas City style!

NOTES:

• We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund. 
• This Is An Adult Class: You must be at least 18 years old as of the class date.  
• If (a) you’d like to sit with another registered guest, or (b) have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know in the Comments section of your registration after reading our full description of policies and information about classes.
• Your registration tells us that you have read through the class description including the age requirements for that particular class.
• Unless otherwise noted in the class description, all adult classes include one glass of beer or wine. Additional alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. 
• Our Kitchen Shop Experience™ will be open for browsing prior to class, during any breaks, and after class.
