Experiment with fibers to create whimsical weavings. In this camp, students will be introduced to a variety of looms and use materials such as yarn, felt, fabric, feathers, and string to make personalized fiber art creations. Students will be guided in different weaving techniques and consider how the materials they choose impact the texture, color, form, and design of their art. Each day of camp will focus on a specific style of weaving for students to explore their creative ideas through.
There will be a snack break approximately halfway through class each day. Included in your camp registration is 1 snack or drink per day. Students may bring cash to purchase additional snacks or drinks or bring their own additional snacks or drinks, if desired. Additional snacks and drinks are $1 each.
