Designed for all experience levels, this workshop encourages experimentation, play, and freedom in the creative process. You’ll explore color, pattern, layering, texture, and composition while discovering new ways to express your unique artistic voice.
Whether you’re new to collage or a seasoned creative, you’ll leave feeling inspired — and with a finished piece that reflects your individuality.
Basic materials will be provided. Participants are warmly encouraged to bring favorite papers, photographs, ephemera, or personal collage supplies to incorporate into their work.

About the ArtistShannon Birchum is a collage artist who finds beauty in unexpected combinations of texture, color, and found materials. Her work explores themes of animals, playful imagery, and nature as she transforms everyday materials through tearing, cutting, layering, and reimagining. She creates pieces that invite viewers to look closer and discover new stories hidden within the fragments — celebrating curiosity, imagination, and the joy of visual storytelling.
