Our instructors will guide you in shaping molten glass into German-style ornaments and plant watering globes. No experience needed! Each person gets 3 glass tubes to create their pieces. Practice makes perfect! While you’ll have 3 attempts, not every piece may turn out as expected. Some may become fun, quirky shapes! It’s all about the experience—so not everyone will have 3 finished projects.
Event Details:
- Live Demo: The event kicks off with a live 30 min. demonstration —don’t miss it!
- Hands-On Glass Blowing: Guests take turns at the torch, creating unique ornaments.
- Food & Drinks: Bring your own beverages and snacks. A reserved section will be available for food, gifts, and mingling.
- Materials: Each group receives
- 3 glass tubes per person, plus colorful glass frit to customize designs. Note: Not every tube may result in a finished ornament as practice is needed.
- Annealing & Pickup: Projects will be kiln-annealed and ready for pickup
- the following Friday. Projects held for 60 days for pick up.
What to Wear:
- Cotton clothing with sleeves that can be rolled up
- Closed-toe shoes
- Hair tied back
Age Requirement:
- Ages 14+ (Kids under 16 will go one a time and must have a responsible adult present.)
- Children under 12 can still attend but will be asked to paint ceramics at the party table ($22 and up)
Pricing:
- $280 for up to 4 guests
- $60 per additional guest (Each person gets 3 glass tubes)
This is a relaxed, fun experience focused on creativity, conversation, and enjoying the process. We keep things light and non-technical so everyone can simply have fun and leave with a finished piece they love.
