Class Description:
It’s all the rage in the food trucks across the country: Mexican street food. Called antojitos (literally "little cravings"), this food is prepared fresh and fast by street vendors in market stalls across Mexico. Antojitos are typically foods not eaten at a formal meal, and they include everything from basic, authentic tacos to Mexicali tacos, plus all kinds of salsas and south-of-the-border desserts. This afternoon, we will greet you with a great margarita. Then Chef Susy Lara, an expert on Mexican food, will show you how to make traditional street fare like Carne Asada Tacos, Roasted Corn with Chili & Lime, and a Mexican Spaghetti dish, plus all the traditional garnishes, and zesty salsas like Salsa Roja and Salsa Verde. And you can’t eat Mexican food without something sweet to cool down your taste buds, so let’s learn to make a spectacular dessert – buñuelos with cinnamon and honey. This is a popular class that sells out quickly.

• We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
• If (a) you’d like to sit with another registered guest, or (b) have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know in the Comments section of your registration after reading our full description of policies and information about classes.
• Your registration tells us that you have read through the class description including the age requirements for that particular class.
• For Adult Classes: you must be at least 18 years old as of the class date.
• This class includes a Margarita, beer or wine. Additional alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. 
• Our Kitchen Shop Experience™ will be open for browsing prior to class, during any breaks, and after class.
