Class Description:
These sweet, petite and delicious little beauties are not hard to make but you do need some tricks to master them! If you’re like us, and you’re obsessed with these delicate, beautiful and classically French cookies…then, this is the class for you! Today’s experienced culinary instructor and Pastry Chef Natasha Goellner is a graduate of The French Culinary Institute, past owner of Mulberry & Mott's (Country Club Plaza) and currently the Pastry Chef at The Antler Room KC, so you’re in for a real treat in this special 4-hour interactive class. Wear one of your swankiest aprons if you like and we will start the class with a glass of bubbly because, well,….we can! Chef Natasha will eagerly teach her expert tips and fancy baking techniques as she walks you through the steps to make exquisite Macaron, using the Italian meringue method -- colorful, crispy cookie “sandwiches” filled with flavored Buttercream. You’ll take home some macarons to share with your family as well as the confidence to create more of these tasty gems! Oui Oui! (This class includes a reception bubbly and Macaron tastings. We recommend a hearty breakfast or a protein bar stashed in your purse/pocket. There will also be a break mid-class to do a little shopping if you desire (or come a little early to class)…or just relax with your new pastry besties.)
Optional Cookbook: When registering you will have the option to pre-purchase the "Macaron School" Cookbook at special pricing only available to the registered students of this class. Your book will be prepaid and available when you arrive for class.

- You must be at least 18 years old as of the class date to attend this class. This class is not designed or taught for children. Your registration tells us that you, and anyone you are registering for, are at least 18 years of age. We reserve the right to request proof of age of each person attending class. Should you or anyone you bring be less than 18 they will not be allowed to attend class and no refunds will be allowed.
