Class Description:
Discover the magic of making fresh mozzarella cheese from scratch with Kansas City’s own @mozzarella_madamkc! In this hands-on class, you'll learn time-honored techniques to transform simple ingredients like fresh milk and cultures into silky, delectable mozzarella. Your guide is Kamille (aka Mozzarella Madam), a dedicated and passionate expert on the centuries-old art of making mozzarella. Mozzarella Madam will show you how to select the right curds, then carefully stretch, knead, and pull the warm curds into smooth, supple balls of mozzarella right before your eyes. Then you'll experience the joy of pulling your own mozzarella as she guides you through this culinary alchemy step-by-step.

Prepare to craft an array of uniquely flavored and delicious mozzarella varieties. Mozzarella Madam will share her secrets for infusing mozzarella with incredible flavors like balsamic vinegar, fresh herbs, savory spices, sweet honey, bright citrus, and more. Class includes generous samples of freshly made mozzarella to snack on along with a charcuterie board. Roll up your sleeves and get ready to get your stretch on for some tasty cheese-making memories!

We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
This class is for adults 18+. Children 14-17 years old are allowed if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please let us know if you plan to bring a minor.

There are certain classes where 14 years and older may attend as long as an adult also attends with them and as long as we have a completed waiver signed by a legal representative for the child. Without prior approval and a properly signed waiver, any registrant who is under 18 years of age will not be allowed to participate in this class. I acknowledge and understand that I and all parties for whom I am registering will be asked to execute a written liability waiver prior to the start of the class and that this waiver is required in order to participate in the class.
