Autumn is a great time to blend nature and printmaking. In this 8 week class students will use nature as their inspiration as well as a printing tool. Students will learn a variety of printmaking methods used to create unique prints that celebrate nature. Some of the methods are monoprints, linocut, drypoint and layering with leaves and other textures. This is a fun class where students will learn about letting go and allowing the mystery of pulling a sheet of paper off of their inked plate. You never know what you will get and you will love the beauty that comes with it.
