Class Description:
Indulge your sweet tooth and unleash your creativity with pastry artist Rachel Van Stratton. Today we're showing you how to make gorgeous holiday cake designs that celebrate the season. This hands-on class is designed for both beginners and baking enthusiasts who want to master the basics of cake decorating. You'll discover the secrets behind creating visually stunning and delicious cakes. First you’ll learn the basics: icing essentials, filling cake, crumb-coating, leveling, and prepping. Then the decorating fun begins as Rachel shows you how to use premade buttercream icing in decorator bags so that you can learn the art of piping to make eye-catching decorations like stars, rosettes, and shell borders.

It will all come together as you practice leveling, crumb-coating, icing, and decorating your very own mini-cake that you can take home and show off to your family. This class is perfect for anyone with a passion for baking and a desire to create stunning, professionally decorated cakes. No prior experience is required – just bring your enthusiasm and a sweet tooth!

We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
This class is for adults 18+. Children 14-17 years old are allowed if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please let us know if you plan to bring a minor.

If you've registered with other people on the same order, you will automatically be seated together.

There are certain classes where 14 years and older may attend as long as an adult also attends with them and as long as we have a completed waiver signed by a legal representative for the child. Without prior approval and a properly signed waiver, any registrant who is under 18 years of age will not be allowed to participate in this class. I acknowledge and understand that I and all parties for whom I am registering will be asked to execute a written liability waiver prior to the start of the class and that this waiver is required in order to participate in the class.
