Workshop Description

This two day demonstration wheel throwing workshop will focus on 50+ techniques for intermediate to advanced level throwing.

Greg Pace and Becca Irvin will begin with throwing a variety of simple forms such as mugs, bowls, bottled forms, and pouring vessels, lids, handles and lugs. They will move on to teapots, lidded vessels, and include some large forms demonstration.

They will focus on sharing their more individualistic style of forms by examining several techniques that make their wares unique such as altering wares, slip trailing, sprig molding, making their own tools, glaze formulation and a variety of glazing techniques.

Bring your camera and notebook to capture their techniques, use of tools, tips and tricks throughout the workshop.
