Kids Art Class Semester Starts today - Skill building

Students will build and develop a foundation of skills by learning and working through the essential elements and principles of art including: line, color, space, shape, form, texture, pattern, balance and emphasis, still-life drawing, drawing with shapes, cartooning, contour drawing, different types of paint and coloring, perspective and much more… We will also explore color theory, atmospheric perspective, and how to tint and achieve different hues of color. The art class also includes art-history, media exploration, drawing techniques, and much more. Students will meet once a week.
