Discover the bold and expressive art of printmaking using linoleum blocks. Students will create their own original designs, either by drawing freehand or working from a photograph, and then learn how to transfer them onto a linoleum block.

Discover the bold and expressive art of printmaking using linoleum blocks. Students will create their own original designs, either by drawing freehand or working from a photograph, and then learn how to transfer them onto a linoleum block.
Safe carving techniques and studio practices will be covered. Once your block is carved, you’ll learn how to mix and roll out inks, then print your design by hand.
Students are encouraged to experiment and share different ink colors and explore how color
choices impact their prints. The quick-drying ink allows you to leave with both your finished
prints and carved blocks.
