Maker Kids: My Favorite Treehouse (Ages 7-12)

This Drawing class will allow your child to use their summertime imagination along with drawing techniques, art tools, and pencil exercises to create their very own treehouse. 

Ages 7 - 12. Please see note below.

Kids will learn these Techniques: Line quality, weight, and value scale, shading and tones, light source, construction lines & eraser tips, hatching, cross-hatching, and stippling.  Kids will use these Art Tools: HB-6B pencils, daubers and blending stump, kneaded erasers, activity sheets, and Bristol board for treehouse drawing.

Through structured play, our educational workshops integrate visual art, hands-on art, and performance art to build character.  We believe that focusing on self-confidence and leadership will help local youth be proud of what makes them super and see and treat others as an extension of themselves.

Note:

Parents do not need to stay for the duration of the class. You are welcome to wait in the lobby or return at the conclusion of the class.
