Kids Sculpture 8 Week Course Spring 2024

Ages: kids 6 - 17

Time: 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Cost: $130 (This class is made possible at a subsidized rate by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.)
Location: Rumriver Art Center (north studio suite 108)

In the 8 week class the students will learn a variety of sculpture techniques by learning about different artists in history and present time. They will explore a variety of sculpture techniques based on these artists. Some of the techniques they will be learning are paper mache, clay, assemblage, and working with wire. This is a fun interactive class where the students will use a variety of techniques to create their own sculptures.
