Cutting Board and Rolling Pin

Learn the basics of woodworking with two simple projects.On the first day, we focus on making a cutting board in the machine room, and on the second day we create rolling pins in the lathe studio. Students mill and join the wood for the cutting boards before crafting the final shapes and sizes. Work in the lathe studio introduces the basic tools and cutting techniques used during spindle turning while students create two rolling pins.

All tools and supplies are provided and are included in the tuition price.
