About Bernadette:
Bernadette is an Alcohol Ink artist. She will also occasionally work with oil and acrylic paint. She enjoys creating art that people use to layer their personal space with beauty. She often uses bright vivid colors inspired by life and the people around her. Her focus with each piece is to evoke an emotion that will connect them to the people and places they need.
Bernadette studied photography at Anoka Ramsey Community College while getting her degree in education decades ago. Her return to the arts started at the end of the Covid pandemic. She returned to Anoka Ramsey Community College to study drawing and oil painting. She also participated in multiple classes at community art centers, online, and self-study.
Bernadette teaches Alcohol Ink classes at local art centers. Her classes are designed to teach students how to use the tools so that each student can create their own works of art. “I believe anyone can be an artist. You just need to surround yourself with the right people in the right place.”
