The second annual Cardinal Honor Run, a 10k, 5k and Fun Run/Walk, will raise funds to provide food, shelter and support for Veterans and Military families of Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota. The Cardinal Honor Run is an official event of the Nebraska Sesquicentennial, celebrating the 150th anniversary of Nebraska’s statehood and will kick-off the Cardinal Festival on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 7:30 a.m. The event will begin and end at Scenic Park, Riverview Dr. in South Sioux City, NE and will cross over the Missouri River on the Veterans Memorial Bridge into Sioux City.
The registration fee to participate is $30 and includes an official Cardinal Honor Run t-shirt.
Youth ages 12 and under are free and may have the option to purchase an event t-shirt for $8.00.
Packet pick-up will be Friday, June 9, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Siouxland Federal Credit Union, 3000 Plaza Dr. in South Sioux City, NE.
100% of the proceeds from this event will stay local and benefit Support Siouxland Soldiers, a non-profit organization that supports our local Veterans and Military families with care-packages, housing assistance and food assistance.
