The Cap City Biohackers are dedicated to demystifying and democratizing science (with an emphasis on biology and technology) for people of all backgrounds.
Our mission is to lower the barrier to entry to the life sciences by providing individuals, regardless of money or training, with the education and tools necessary to explore the biological world around them, thereby promoting scientific literacy and advancing an innovative community.
Since its founding in 2015, the Cap City Biohackers have formed a strong community around citizen science, including monthly lectures, discussions, and hands-on demonstrations. The Cap City Biohackers is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
