About the Chefs
Eda Martin
Chef Eda Martin is an executive chef, registered dietitian, and food scientist with over a decade of experience in culinary nutrition, recipe development, and global food innovation. Her work centers on transforming cultural cuisine into elevated, wellness-focused, and story-driven dining experiences.
She has led culinary education and product development initiatives across academic, corporate, and clinical environments, including collaborations with physicians and researchers at the UCLA/VA Healthcare System. Through Cocina Casera, Chef Eda explores modern Latin-inspired cuisine rooted in heritage, wellness, and bold flavour.
Angel Diaz
Chef Angel Diaz brings extensive experience in high-volume kitchen execution and menu development. His approach emphasizes precision, consistency, and seamless operational flow, with a strong ability to execute refined multi-course menus in both restaurant and event environments.
