Learn a new art form and create new memories and keepsakes. In our class, students will learn to score and break glass. You will have access to a full-range of colors and the artistic freedom to create a custom succulent that can be added to an existing planter or placed in its own pot.
No experience is necessary. Your instructor will guide you through every step of the process as you create your one of a kind piece using glass pieces to design and decorate.
Patterns will be available. As is always the case with our glass fusing classes, guests have the option to create their own designs. It is helpful to view design inspiration on Pinterest. We do recommend for guests to be flexible when choosing a design, not all options out there are suitable for beginners.
Glass fusing is the process of creating objects with glass by heating them in a kiln. Participants will learn how to use various tools and how to score and break glass to create a custom piece.
Requirements: Participants must wear closed toed shoes, and safety glasses (provided). Loose, long sleeves are not recommended. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum age requirement is 12 years old. No children or babies are permitted to attend. Due to the nature of the project no food items are allowed to be consumed in the classroom during this class.
Pick up: Items will be kiln fired and ready to pick up one week after the class. This class that will host a maximum of 15 students.
