Chocolate Tempering Essentials

This class covers all the fundamental science and technique of tempering chocolate and making a variety of dipped and molded candies. Following the demonstration, students will temper chocolate by hand and learn proper techniques for dipping with the right chocolate tools. We will cover using hobbyist molds for making chocolate lollipops and professional polycarbonate molds to make the fruit and nut tablets pictured. At the end of class we will have a demonstration on making rocky road. Each student will be sent home with a box of the dipped and molded items they created in class. Class runs approximately 2 hours. Kindly note that our classes are for adults.
