Our Pottery Wheel Events are a very special experience, fun and memorable. Although it is technically not a workshop, you will be learning a lot about throwing on the wheel and it is a great way to sample the process to see if you would like to sign up for an educational series in the future.

*WE ASK OUR GUEST TO PLEASE BE ON TIME AND ARRIVE 10 MINUTES BEFORE EVENT.
Have you always wanted to recreate the movie "Ghost" pottery wheel scene with your date? Now's your chance! Bring your phone/camera and we'll get some candid shots for you! Participants will have the opportunity to create up to 3 medium size pieces (up to 6 pieces per couple) on the pottery wheel in stoneware clay. Then, you'll choose colors from a nice selection of stoneware glaze choices that we'll apply for you. Clay, glazing and kiln firings are included. Your pottery will be ready to pick up within 30 days of your event, and glazed in the stoneware glazes that you choose. Your creations will be food and dishwasher safe!
Suggestions: Bring an old towel to toss over your lap if you want to stay clean for plans afterward. We do not supply aprons. The clay will not stain your clothes and if you get a spot on you, it will usually brush right off after it dries.
If you have a conflict or get sick, please contact us as soon as possible. We can re-post your seat online for you, and if we can fill your seat, then you will get a credit for a future event, and sometimes possibly move you to another event if seats are available. We often have a wait list, but please give us as much notice as possible so that we can try to help with reselling your seats for you.
If we have bad weather, we will contact you about rescheduling your event or we can offer you a full refund.
Cancellation Policy: This event is limited to 6 couples/12 participants. Each person is reserving his or her own pottery wheel to use throughout the event, so please understand that Pottery Wheel Date Event seats are non-refundable, like a concert or show ticket. If you have a conflict or get sick, please contact us quickly and we will try to resell your seats for you to get an online credit for a future event.
You are also welcome to gift your seats for friends or family if you cannot attend, and please contact us with the names of those who will be attending in your place. Please do not attend if you are sick.
