Stoneware is made from an unrefined clay and has a higher sand content. It is fired at a much higher temperature and the result is a stronger chip resistant piece. It is often used to make mugs and baking dishes. It can be safely heated in ovens and microwaves. It is the perfect choice for your dinnerware because it is durable and less expensive than porcelain.

A place setting consist of a Dinner Plate, Salad Plate, Bowl, and Mug
- $60 for one place setting
- $232 for 4 place settings ($58/place setting)
- $464 for 8 place settings ($58/place setting)
- $660 for 12 place settings ($55/place setting)
Deposit:
At the time of ordering there is a 40% non-refundable deposit required.
How Long will it take to complete your stoneware?
If Nellie Dog Pottery and Paints is glazing your stoneware, it will take 2-3 weeks for you to receive your completed stoneware. If you are glazing your own stoneware it will take 1-2 weeks from the point you complete your pieces.
