Vitality Arts Exploring the Use of Color 8 Week Course Fall 2024

Ages: geared for older adults ages 55+, but any adult can register

Cost: $145 (This class is made possible at a subsidized rate by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.)

Are your watercolor mixes not looking the way you thought they should. You were expecting a brilliant red and got a dull dirty red instead.
Join us in exploring the use of color. In this class we will go over some of the basics of color mixing. We will work with the three primary colors - Red; Yellow; Blue – warm and cool versions of each to get a better understanding of the colors in our palettes. Then we will expand to more colors for a fuller range of options for your painting. As we expand from the primary colors, I recommend that you bring your own working colors to work with and get to know better.
