Membership Mondays or Wednesdays 6:30-8:30pm, May 1-22, 23 (Closed Memorial Day)

Monthly membership is available to those that have completed at least 2 Six Week Pottery Wheel Session at Cool Creations and have knowledge to work independently AND/OR to experienced potters who can demonstrate that they have the knowledge to work with clay without assistance. If you have not taken classes at Cool Creations, we need to meet with you to show you around the studio and assess your knowledge. Monthly membership Includes 25 pounds of clay, additional clay can be purchased for $3/pound. We have white or speckled stoneware clay. No outside clay.

Waiver and Studio Information

Booked session and missed classes are non-refundable. If you miss a class, you will be able to catch up to finish your pottery during class time. Studio Cleaning Guidelines: In order to minimize clay dust and keep the studio safe for everyone, you hereby agree to clean the tools and put them in their designated spot, clean the equipment, and workspace you've used, including floor area. Most of the cleaning can be done at the wheel with a large sponge and bucket of water. This also minimizes clay going into our plumbing. Before leaving class please check that common work tables, wedging tables, and glazing stations are wiped down.

Glazing! Please follow the studio guidelines on glazing. Wipe off glaze on the bottom and 1/4 inch up from the base/foot. Don't double dip an entire piece. No runny glazes combos on an entire piece. Glazes applied too thick will not be fired since the glaze runs and get stuck on the kiln shelves.

Glazing, Pick up & Breakage: We are not able to hold finished beyond 30 days after class has ended due to lack of space. We don’t keep unfinished items after a last day of class. We are not responsible for pieces without names. Glazed pottery will be ready 1-2 weeks after class has ended. We do our best to care for everyone's pottery. Sometimes accidents happen and we are not responsible for breakage during kiln firings.

Photo Release: We may take photos of program participants and of art projects to promote Cool Creations on social media and the work it supports in our community. We will not disclose names of participants.
