Class Description
Join Executive Chef Richard McPeake with an elevated cooking party with your significant other or a favorite group of friends. Your guide is longtime instructor Chef Richard McPeake. Chef Richard is the Retired Lead Chef Instructor of Kansas City Kansas Community College Culinary Center Chef Instructor for 20 years and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. He has won countless awards throughout his career including 14 Travel Holiday Awards and 2 Four Diamond Awards for Food Excellence.
He’ll get the night started with a new twist on a legend – a Grilled Caesar Salad with Parmesan Tuiles (fresh grated parmesan baked to a crisp). Next up is our first protein of the night: Pan-Seared Burgundy Rubbed Beef Medallions. No one teaches cooking methods better than Chef Richard, he will show you how to pan sear these medallions to tender perfection. After learning pan searing, you'll move onto roasting with fresh asparagus, the perfect side dish to any red meat. Our second protein of the night is Butter Poached Scallops with Thyme Butter served with a Risotto Milanese. An absolutely decadent dish that compliments your savory Beef Medallions.
Finally, we’ll cap the night with a quick lesson in homemade ice cream making as we craft a smooth and refreshing Genovese Basil & Balsamic Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. This is an elegant culinary experience you won't forget! Perfect for a date night or an unforgettable night out with friends.

- We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
