Sustainable Communities (July 9-13)

Get involved with Chicago projects that help the environment. During this summer workshop, kids learn about sustainable initiatives in our community, practice sustainable habits, learn Chicago's recycling rules, and help add data to a variety of citizen scientist projects all around the world. Topics include Ecosystems, Microgreens, Recycling, Community Service, and Chicago Wildlife.

Each day includes 1-2 hours of guided, outdoor exploration so please dress for the outdoors - rain or shine! Kids will also need to bring a lunch and a reusable water bottle each day. We are a nut-free environment, so please snack accordingly :)

Camps can be purchased by the full-day week, half-day week or by individual full or half days.  Full-day camp runs from 9:00 to 3:00 and half-day camp runs from 9:00 to 1:00. Camps are for ages 5-10.
