Class Description:
The simple quiche – it’s comforting, versatile, delicious, and easy to make and serve at any meal. Join Chef Laura Thomsen as she takes you on a delightful culinary adventure into the world of quiches. A traditional quiche starts with a buttery, flaky crust that is then filled with cheesy egg custard and meat, seafood, or vegetables. In this hands-on session, you will discover the secrets behind crafting the perfect flaky pastry dough from scratch. Then you will master the art of dough handling, including rolling and shaping it, so that you gain the skills to create a pie crust that's both tender and crispy. Then we enter the world of filings, from cracking and whisking the eggs to choosing what meat and veggies fillings go along with it. Bacon, ham and cheese, mushroom and spinach with feta, asparagus, smoked salmon, roasted red pepper and goat cheese – the possibilities are limitless. It’s a great way to use up all those meat and veggie leftovers in your fridge. The best part? You get to take home your homemade pie crust with filling and bake it to perfection, savoring the homemade goodness with your loved ones. This is a family-friendly class for all ages and skill levels. Beginners are welcome. Bring your enthusiasm, curiosity, and appetite for learning — we'll handle the rest!

Notes:

• We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
• Family Friendly (5+) - All ages 5 and up welcome. Each child below the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. 
• If (a) you’d like to sit with another registered guest, or (b) have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know in the Comments section of your registration after reading our full description of policies and information about classes. If you've registered with other people on the same order, you will automatically be seated together.
• Your registration tells us that you have read through the class description including the age requirements for that particular class.
• Our Kitchen Shop Experience™ will be open for browsing prior to class, during any breaks, and after class.
