A hands-on workshop featuring the M5StickC prototyping device from M5Stack. The “stick” is a compact Arduino programmable device that contains its own screen, battery power, and extendable sensors. It also provides full Bluetooth and wifi capability.
Workshop students will learn the basics of programming the stick to add interactive display, light, motion, sound, and connectivity to their projects and prototypes. Each student in the workshop will receive a M5StickC kit to work with and take home.

Plan Your Visit
Students should bring a laptop with a USB type A port and are encouraged to install the current Arduino IDE software before attending (https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software)
All materials and safety equipment supplied. It is recommended students bring their own laptop. Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes and long pants to participate, and sturdy footwear (e.g. tennis shoes or boots) is recommended. Plan to arrive for class about 10-15 min early and check in at the front desk. Our main entrance is on State Street, with parking lot entrance on State St. as well. IF parking and street parking are available.
