Class Description:
Rich farmland and an abundance of fine ingredients and exotic spices combine to make Morocco a culinary mecca. No other cuisine surpasses Morocco’s subtle use of multi spice blends which are used to enhance the natural flavor of food, not mask it. Saffron, cinnamon, cumin, preserved lemons, olives, filo, honey, and couscous – all key ingredients. Join longtime CCKC instructor  Chef Gary Hild, as he teaches you about this amazing cuisine. We’ll start with a Sweet Potato Salad with Cumin and Ginger, then move onto the stars of the show: an incredibly flavorful Moroccan-Style Lamb Stew with Dried Apricots, and a rich and fragrant Chicken Tagine with Lemon and Olives. 

You’ll pick up some cool tips for making chicken stock, sauces, preserving lemons and we couldn't leave out how to make pillowy naan. You'll learn a variety of elevated culinary techniques as Chef Gary teaches you to prepare tonight's exotic delights. You’ll enjoy dinner along with a soothing Moroccan Green Tea laced with spearmint to celebrate our success.

• Please enjoy a 10% discount on all items in our retail store during the full calendar day/night of your class or event. Our retail store will be open for browsing prior to class, during any breaks, and after class. 
• We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
