Intro to Web Development

In this course, you'll follow along as the instructor demonstrates building a web app that uses the iTunes search API to retrieve songs based on keywords we provide. This web app will allow students to sample new music. During this course, you will gain new insight on how the web app development process works.

Plan Your Visit

Bring your laptop if you would like to follow along. However, this is an introductory web development course that teaches only fundamentals and concepts. The student is not required to submit code during the class. Upon completion of this class, students will be prepared for future classes where hands-on experience could be gained. 

Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes and long pants to participate, and sturdy footwear (e.g. tennis shoes or boots) is recommended. Plan to arrive for class about 10-15 min early and check in at the front desk.  Our main entrance is on State Street, with parking lot entrance on State St. as well. IF parking and street parking available.
