Class Description:
That little mischievous monkey, Curious George, got into our kitchen last night and hid all of our bananas! We need all li’l chefs (and their adult (18+) cooking partners) to join our “Banana Safari” as we search high and low for those lovely yellow fruits so we can use them today in our cooking class! What a great way to spend time with your tiny budding chef here in our kitchens where you will create some wonderful memories while your child learns important kitchen and life skills. We’ll be “cooking up fun” as the kids learn how to follow instructions as we stir and whisk and crack an egg. We’ll learn how to cut some fruit (using kid-friendly knives!), and your young chef will learn how rewarding it is to eat something they’ve made with their own two hands!  We keep it simple, engaging and interactive and work together as child/adult teams to make Chocolate-Dipped Frozen Bananas on a stick (covered with Sprinkles of course!); Banana & ‘Nilla Wafer Pudding Cups; and your very own mini loaf of Banana Bread to take home!

• We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
• If (a) you’d like to sit with another registered team or (b) have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know in the Comments section of your registration after reading our full description of policies and information about classes.
• Your registration tells us that you have read through the class description including the age requirements for that particular class.
• This class is designed and taught for kids ages5-8 years.  By registering your child you are telling us that your child will be at least 5 years old as of the class date.  Should they be younger, they will not be able to attend this class and no refunds will be given. 
• For kids attending this class, we require A Waiver signed by parent/legal guardian prior to admittance to this class: [Click here to download the Waiver]  Note: If someone other than the parent signs a Waiver, they will need to present a  legal document showing legal authority to sign on behalf of the child. Note that the Waiver requires that you provide a phone number where you can be reached during the class if necessary.  We encourage you to print off a copy of this Waiver, sign it and either 1) scan and email it to heather@kcculinary.com or 2) bring it to class with your student.  Without an appropriately signed Waiver your child will not be allowed to attend class.  We are sorry but we cannot make any exceptions to this rule. 
• Our Kitchen Shop Experience™ will be open for browsing prior to class, during any breaks, and after class.
