Blacksmithing Basics with Bryan - Marshmallow Roaster 2026

Blacksmithing is the art of shaping metal using heat and tools like a hammer and an anvil to make objects, like hinges, nails, hammers, and more.  It is an art form that has used traditional techniques for a couple hundred years.  We are so excited to be offering these classes at Creative Spark Studio, in Maryville, TN.

In this beginning class, you will observe and learn several technique like hammering, and twisting metal to create a unique Marshmallow Roaster. All materials are provided.

Learn about Bryan: He is a life-long Blount Countian that is following in his great grandfather's footsteps as a blacksmith. Bryan is an avid historical artisan that has a passion for getting others involved with blacksmithing and sparking a desire in people to explore blacksmithing themselves.

Class is 1.5 to 2 hours. All materials are provided. Recommended age 18+ (16Y.O with guardian)
Closed toed shoes required and If you have longer hair, please bring a hair tie.

Price: $65 + booking fee, includes all materials and instruction per attendee.
