BEACH WEEK for KIDS!!!

(3 Day Mini-Camp: Tues-Wed-Thurs, June 9-11, 2020)

12:00-1:45 pm, Ages 6-9, 1st-4th grades

3:00-5:00, Ages 10-13, 4th-8th grades

We’ll create several Beach Themed 2D & 3D Projects that include: 

Painted Shells, Air Dry Clay (Kids choose a fish, sea turtle or octopus to hand build from air dry clay then paint it.), Sand Painting (literally a painting made of sand), Draw & Paint an Underwater Scene & they'll experience some Sand Sculpting, too! 

This one is coming up fast!!! So the Deadline to Register is Friday, June 5th.  Reservations will close earlier if our available space fills sooner.

Cost?  $50 per child covers all 3 days of classes.  Price includes supplies. 

Beginner? --No worries.  Susan (our studio owner & professional artist) will lead everyone through each step of the painting processes even though they'll have lots of options along the way with each project!  

Age Group?  Ages 6-9 have a Noon Class each day and Ages 10 & Up have the 3 pm class.  (If you have siblings attending but their ages put them in different classes & you'd like for them to attend together, please choose the youngest class for them or email me with your concerns.) 

Can we Bring a Drink? You're welcome to bring a water bottle with a secure lid.   No other drinks please.  (Water is easier to clean up after accidental spills & less damaging if it gets on the paintings.)

Do you accept credit/debit cards? Actually, you will need to pay for these classes as you make your reservation here online using your credit or debit card instead of an option to pay at the event for this one.

Parking?  Free & unlimited Parking in the huge Parking Lot between the studio and Lyman 1st Baptist Church.  (Only 2 hour free parking along the sidewalk in front of the studio, so you could use that option to unload people before you go park if you prefer.)

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS:

1.   Please do not come early to class.  (We need time before & between classes to clean & set up supplies for class.)  Doors will open no earlier than 10 min prior to each class.  Please make sure other people bringing your child to class are aware of this policy, so they will not have to wait outside in the heat or rain.

2.  For safe distances in the classroom, Please remain in the lobby unless Susan has invited you into the classroom space.  Maintain safe distances while in the lobby.  

3.  We provide Hand Sanitizer as you Enter & Leave the Lobby as well as soaps at our sinks in the back.  

4.   We normally use 5' tables with 1 or 2 children sitting at each table.  Be sure to choose your preference in this form. 

5.  Please do not bring your child to class if he or she has been running a fever in the previous 48 hours.
