Ages 8 - 15 (recommended) You know your young artist/s so please exercise your own judgement on which session/s to attend and if they would be enthusiastic to spend each day making art.

Description: You know the great thing about kids? They aren't afraid to let their creativity shine! In fact, they welcome the opportunity to delve into sculpting, take a crack at acrylics, and develop a keen eye for color, composition, and design all while creating beautiful pieces of art.Nurturing a child's natural artistic inclination does more than fill the front of your fridge with one-of-a-kind masterpieces. It also builds self-esteem as young ones learn to analyze and problem-solve. When kids are given the chance to try out their own ideas, and then make changes based on what they want the result to be, they develop confidence. Confidence that bleeds into their social, academic, athletic, and artistic pursuits.In this four-day camp, your budding artist will paint with acrylics, draw, sculpt, and create mixed media projects. Guided by Ashley Ellis, an educator artist. Each camper creates a portfolio worthy of display in your own living room art show. Parents and campers alike agree that this unique program is an ideal blend of fine arts education and creative fun. Geared towards youth searching their niche in the art scene, this camp event has something for everyone, from beginner to advanced.

What to bring: Becoming the next Leonardo DiVinci is hard work! Please help your camper stay fed and hydrated by sending along a snack, lunch if they are participating in BOTH Sessions, and water bottle. Each camper will also need a 9" x 12" sketchbook. Sketchbooks are available for purchase at checkout for $10.

Please avoid packing nuts of all kinds and in all forms to keep our campers with allergies safe.

Medical Authorization and Waiver of Liability

MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
As parents/guardians of (child's name), I/we do hereby authorize Ashley Ellis and staff to make any and all emergency medical decisions and to authorize and consent to, any and all emergency medical care deemed necessary, to be rendered to the above-named child for his/her care and safety.
The undersigned understands that all reasonable and diligent efforts will be made to contact the undersigned parents/guardians of (child's name) in an effort to obtain consent to all medical treatment unless the delay in such treatment could jeopardize the child.
As the parent/guardian of (child's name) the undersigned takes full responsibility for any financial cost that may be incurred for medical care of the above-named youth. Additionally, the undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Ashley Ellis and staff) from any/all liability occasioned by such medical treatment and decision-making.
Ashley Ellis and staff will not administer prescription medications or over the counter drugs except in the case of emergency, such as an Epinephrine autoinjector.
Parents/guardians must inform Ashley Ellis of any special circumstances which may affect the child’s ability to participate fully and within the guidelines of acceptable behavior, including, but not limited to, any serious behavioral problems or special circumstances regarding psychological, medical, or physical conditions.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY
I understand that Ashley Ellis and staff are acting only as agents and shall not be responsible or liable for any injury/ accident/ illness, which may occur on site or within the duration of the camp. Please be aware that we must be able to reach you in the case of an emergency. All classes will be conducted with utmost care in a safe learning environment.
Please make arrangements to drop off and pick up your child on time. No child will be released without proper authorization from the parent/ guardian in advance.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

A $30 cancellation fee applies to all registrations canceled a minimum of seven (7) days prior the start date of the session. Cancellations made less than seven (7) days before the start of the session forfeit payment and will not be refunded. No refunds are issued for no-shows or withdrawal after camp begins. You may reschedule to a different session without a cancellation charge if the change is made seven (7) or more days prior to the start of the originally scheduled session. The cancellation fee is only waived one (1) time. Additional reschedules will be charged a $30 cancellation fee. If you wish to reschedule and there are no sessions available, your current session will be canceled and a $30 cancellation fee will apply if the studio is notified at least seven (7) days prior to the start of the originally scheduled session. If notified less than seven (7) days prior to the start, no refund is issued. Ashley Ellis reserves the right to cancel or modify a workshop or class at any time. Full refunds are issued for sessions canceled by Ashley Ellis.
