Class Description:

Get ready to say goodbye to winter and hello to spring with a family-friendly class that teaches you the art of cookie decorating! Whether you're a novice or a seasoned baker, renowned cookie artist Leesa Yates will share cookie decorating tips and techniques that will have you making your own edible masterpieces in no time! Start off class with a tasty hot chocolate with marshmallows. Then Leesa will show you how to make Royal Icing, the base frosting for decorating cookies. Next, she’ll teach decorating techniques like consistencies, coloring, piping, and flooding. Once you’ve got the basics down, you will practice what you’ve learned and work on creating some of your own seasonal designs. Since late February is a transitional time, we’ll have fun incorporating both winter designs (snowflakes, mittens and hats) and spring designs (flowers, butterflies, ladybugs, bees). Don’t worry, she’ll have samples of some fun cookie designs that she’s made for you to use as inspiration. And you get to take your decorated cookies home!

NOTES:

• We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund. 
• This is a family-friendly class. Children ages 5+ are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult 18+ who is registered for the class.  
• If (a) you’d like to sit with another registered guest, or (b) have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know in the Comments section of your registration after reading our full description of policies and information about classes. You will automatically be seated with other guests on your order.
• Your registration tells us that you have read through the class description including the age requirements for that particular class. 
• Our Kitchen Shop Experience™ will be open for browsing prior to class, during any breaks, and after class.
