Advanced Pastry - Tiered Cakes 2-Day Series

In this two day class you will learn the fundamentals to create your very own three-tiered celebration cake. Attendees will bake, assemble, and stack their cakes and learn about support structures, such as dowels and cake straws. Students will decorate their cakes with a variety of techniques to match any chosen theme, such as piping flowers and borders.

Attendees prepare everything from scratch, including cake, filling, and buttercream.

  • Day 1: Bake and prepare all components from scratch and partially assemble tiers.
  • Day 2: Stack tiers, decorate and add finishing touches.


This two-day workshop is for adults 18 +. Each day's class will be approximately 4 hours long. Younger participants may attend with permission from CSCA only when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Classes in this series cannot be made up.
