While there are no formal prerequisites for this class, a basic familiarity with fiber may be helpful.

This class is a single-day workshop. A 30-minute break will be provided so feel free to pack a lunch/snacks!
Fee: $100
Note - PLEASE READ: In addition to the provided materials, participants in this class will need to purchase their own roving (fiber) at a cost of approximately $10. Once you have signed up, look out for an email from the instructor within 2-3 business days. This email will contain instructions about the type of roving to buy as well as a local vendor where this item can be purchased at a discount.

Elyse’s creative career includes over 20 years as a graphic designer and art director, a decade of exploring the boundaries of clay as a sculptural material and years of crafting installations and works for exhibition that incorporate materials as varied as egg shells, feathers and waxed linen. Her love of fiber began after taking a needle felting class from Stephanie Metz; she’s been hooked ever since learning and loving the seemingly endless boundaries of this natural material.
