Kids will create one painting each day while learning about the color wheel, color mixing, basic brush techniques, & the artist of the day. We will provide a snack each day. Campers who attend all 4 days of camp will receive a FREE Spirited Art t-shirt!
This year’s "artists of the day" include Georgia O’Keeffe, Marcel Duchamp, Edvard Munch, & Piet Mondrian. All artistic levels are encouraged to attend. Classes are taught where more artistically advanced children & returning campers will be able to introduce some advanced techniques (such as blending & shading) into their paintings while less artistically advanced children & beginners will still be able to accomplish a painting they can be proud of. (Similar concept to attending a group exercise class & you’re given “the option to <insert more advanced pose>”, or accomplish the beginner pose while you work towards those more advanced poses).
