Drawing 101 is for kids 8+ that have not had any formal instruction in drawing at the studio or another studio, or for those that wish to continue to work on their basic skills and abilities.

Drawing 101 is for kids 8+ that have not had any formal instruction in drawing at the studio or another studio, or for those that wish to continue to work on their basic skills and abilities.
Drawing 101 will address a variety of drawing techniques that includes perspective, contouring, shading, shapes, sizing by sketching from props, imagination or still-life arrangements. The artists will develop at their own pace getting individual instruction to advance themselves in the completion of their artwork.
Each new artist will receive a sketchbook on the first day of class for them to use at home and bring to class. Returning students will use the same book. New books can be purchased through the studio when pages are filled.
Students will be given a drawing assignment each week to complete at home to help develop their skills.
Class is recommended for kids 8+.
Registration is required. Space is limited to 8 kids.
