Enameling is the art of applying a durable coating of melted glass fused to the surface of metal. The color and technique mesmerize artists and provide an endless palette from where to draw inspiration. In this 6 week class taught by Kelly Green Grady, participants will learn the fundamental techniques of enameling while making a number of beautiful pieces.
6 week class (Mar 14th - April 29 Thursdays AM; March 21 - May 2 Thursdays PM. No class Week of 4/15). Two time slots:
- Thurs. mornings (9:15am - 12:15pm),
- Thurs. evenings (6:15pm - 9:15pm)
Cost: $324.00 + $25.00 Materials Fee (includes copper and enamel for core projects. Fee does not include sterling silver nor findings for finishing jewelry. Students can purchase items in studio or bring their own.)
Beginner and advanced beginner students are welcomed.
