Clay Session 1 - Pinch Pot technique

Monthly Home School Classes: Each month we will be exploring a new project! Students will have a fun time stretching their creative muscles in this instructor led class while learning something new. Students should be accompanied by an adult. Our projects are simple enough for kindergartners and interesting enough for High School students to add their own touch.
During the fall of 2024 we will have 3 sessions devoted to clay. We will be learning all about clay and the multiple techniques used to create with clay. In our 1st session we will be using the pinch pot technique to create a fun sea animal.
We want our homeschool families to have the opportunity to incorporate lessons and projects into the curriculum at home. Feel free to do some research prior to or after our class.
*The Sweada Mae Art Cafe is a Qualified Educational Service Provider for the ACE Grant. Qualifying families can receive $1,000 reimbursement for instructor led educational classes and camps during the 2023-2024 school year.
