​Everything you need to know about choosing, storing, sharpening, holding, and using a chef's knife, the most important tool in the kitchen! 

And so you have something to do with all your beautifully-cut vegetables, we'll also cook up a delicious Italian Vegetable Soup along the way. A list of vegetables to have on hand will be included in the confirmation email.
 
EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

* A chef's knife, and
* A knife sharpener; either a sharpening stone or hand-held sharpener.

We'll walk you through making your own pie from scratch, and explain how to to work with different fruit fillings, so you can keep up with all the pie seasons (blueberry, peach, apple, etc.).

We are obsessed with the flavors of Persian cooking, which teems with an abundance of fresh herbs, sour and sweet ingredients, and heady fragrances. Join us as we explore some of the ingredients and cooking techniques that make the brightly hued and brilliantly seasoned dishes of Iran so marvelous to cook and eat.
