Intro Woodworking: Kitchen Utensils

Harness your woodshop chops in this 3hr class while creating a small arsenal of kitchen utensils with wood shop instructor Mark Schicker!  We will discuss project planning by the use of templates, compound cuts on the bandsaw, drilling, and sanding techniques to make a spatula, fork, and salad claws!  All skill levels are welcome!


Tools you'll use:-Bandsaw-Scrollsaw-Chopsaw (mitre)-Drill press-Sanders and sanding station (downdraft table)This class will prepare Forge members for their Wood 1 clearance.


Participants must wear close-toed shoes & have something to put up their hair. Hearing protection is not required but highly recommended (provided by the Forge).
